A painting I completed recently for some friends who were married last May. I finally finished their wedding present. It's called Taking Flight. It has been submitted to the 2014 Banner Project for Fernie BC. We'll see how that goes.

It's unfortunate that I don't have a better picture of the painting I did for the DID Custom Ski Design contest - but this will have to do. The original ski design displays various buildings occupied by red balloons. It's the red balloon take over!

It's not my favorite but I thought I'd post it for this week as I will most likely paint over it. It had some cool effects and textures but it ended up being too Spiderman meets tree hugger.

Hand Drawing Holding Pen
i would like to draw/paint/take photos more often so i'm going to post things i create on the blog - which is why this blog is here anyways. i think this will help, for some reason. i'm not planning a drawing a day because sometimes a painting takes a while but i'm going to try and post something each week. i think that's reasonable.

Meet Saul and Leroy
Leroy is, in real life, our dog and Saul is his best friend. They get along so well together I thought I would turn them into cartoon characters. They are pretty sweet and soon they'll go on many adventures.

I created these little drawings for Small Town Social's fresh new Winter 2010/11 look. They were both drawn with coloured pens, giving it that scratchy look. These are two from the new series of about 4 or 5.
